IDLE Kitchen & Coffee ("IDLE", "we") runs idlekitchen.ca. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act.
What we collect
- Email list: your email address, if you sign up for specials and events.
- Orders: when you order online, our ordering provider (Clover) collects your name, phone number, email and payment details to process the order. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone or social media, such as a job application or a large-order request.
- Site use: our website host uses cookies and basic analytics, such as pages visited and device type, to run the site and show us how it's used.
How we use it
- To make and hand over your order.
- To send emails you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To reply to you and handle job applications.
- To keep the website working and improve it.
We don't sell your information. We share it only with the services we use to run the business (our website host, Clover, and delivery apps when you order through them), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Email list details stay until you unsubscribe. Order and job application records are kept only as long as we need them for business, accounting and legal reasons.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails any time. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below.
